PORTAL 2: BOGOTÁ

Bogotá is the capital and the largest city in Colombia. Bogotá is diverse and multicultural and combines modern constructions with others that evoke its colonial past.

Some of the activities that you can do in Bogotá during a weekend are: visit the Plaza de Bolivar, the Botero Museum, the Gold Museum, the Candelaria and the Chorro de Quevedo, you can climb to Monserrate, enjoy the market of the fleas, you can visit the botanical garden and the Quinta de Bolivar and to finish your night you might love to dance and find good bars in the Zona Rosa.

In this Collage you can see some places like: Jardin Botánico, Maloka and Botero museum. If you are going to Jardin Botánico you may do cultural activities, guided tours, and you can taste a Gastronomic sample, if you will walk to the guided tours you should enter no later than 3:00 p.m. because the tour lasts two hours approximately.

You can visit Botero museum too but if you are going to visit that you must not take pictures of exhibitions.

Other places that you can find in Bogota are: Plaza de Bolivar, Rivas passage and Monserrate. Monserrate is a world-famous to be the highest eastern hill in Bogota. You will walk on the pedestrian path, or you will ride the cable car to climb the Monserrate hill. If you are going to Rivas passage you can find a lot typical crafts of our country, Colombia so you would like to buy gifts for your family.

Finally, if you will travel to Bogota you should visit the Planetarium, Candelaria, Gold museum and National museum of children. You may go to planetarium you can participate in the principal activity about planets and the stars of Heaven. On other hand, the Gold Museum of Bogotá is one of the things that you should see in this city. If you travel to Bogota I would recommend you to get up early as much as you can, visit Monserrate first, then walk through the Calendaria, and to end the day, come and admire the exhibitions of the Gold Museum.

You can find the seafood specialty in Central Cevicheria you might love to taste Shrimp Ceviche. En Bogotá you can find a lot of delicious food. About the principal dishes you should taste the Fritanga Bogotana, empanadas, Ajiaco, Tamal, pumped potato and rice accompanied by any meal, if you are going to have your breakfast you can eat Changua, chocolate, and sweet fritter, especially, in December season for holidays. If you prefer to eat a sweet dessert you should taste rice pudding, three milk cake, wafer, dessert cream or sweet of papayuela.

PORTAL 3: CAJICÁ

Cajicá is a small town that is located in the savannah of Bogotá, it has about 56,875 inhabitants, the activities that you can do is to go to the summit viewpoint which is very ecological and people love to go up on foot or on foot. running there you can see a great view of our beautiful town, the other thing we can do is ride the train of the savannah which makes a very nice tour. Guasca is a town of Colombia located in the Department of Cundinamarca, 50 kilometers from Bogotá D.C. It has an average temperature of 15º centigrade and is at an altitude of 2,700 meters above sea level, located between the cold and páramo thermal floors.

The gastronomic offer is very varied and offers visitors different options. As a contribution to the region, restaurants and cafes offer organic products grown in the region you should have to delicious café in my town.

The most delicious restaurant on my perspective is "La Rueca", this is a place with typical ingredients of the zone, you can delight eating "Gallina","Cocido", this plate has beef, patatoes, vetchs, "chuguas","cubios","rice", broad beans.

The emblematic places in Ubate are the principal church on the central park, this church has a gothic style, you may do so much admiration for the visitants, because inside this church has an awesome decoration, with statues in bronze and gold, the wood used in your chairs is cedar. The foods square, where you can choose your favorite homemade food. The statue in the collage is the emblem of Ubate, named "Capital Lechera de Colombia" his name could be given by to have the most quantity of production of milk products in the country, then the church, and an image of a plate of "Gallina".
