Bogotá is the capital and the largest city in Colombia. Bogotá is diverse and multicultural and combines modern constructions
with others that evoke its colonial past.
Some of the activities that you can do in Bogotá during a
weekend are: visit the Plaza de Bolivar, the Botero Museum, the Gold Museum,
the Candelaria and the Chorro de Quevedo, you can climb to Monserrate, enjoy
the market of the fleas, you can visit the botanical garden and the Quinta de
Bolivar and to finish your night you might love to dance and find good bars in
the Zona Rosa.

and Botero museum. If you are going to Jardin Botánico you may do cultural activities,
guided tours, and you can taste a Gastronomic sample, if you will walk to the guided

Bogota. You will walk on the pedestrian path, or you will ride the cable car to
climb the Monserrate hill. If you are going to Rivas passage you can find a lot
typical crafts of our country, Colombia so you would like to buy gifts for your
family.
Finally, if you will travel to Bogota you should visit the Planetarium, Candelaria,
Gold museum and National museum of children. You may go to planetarium you can participate
in the principal activity about planets and the stars of Heaven. On other hand,
the Gold Museum of Bogotá is one of the things that you should see in this city.
If you travel to Bogota I would recommend you to get up early as much as
you can, visit Monserrate first, then walk through the Calendaria, and to end
the day, come and admire the exhibitions of the Gold Museum.

you can find a lot of delicious food. About the principal dishes you should taste
the Fritanga Bogotana, empanadas, Ajiaco, Tamal, pumped potato and rice accompanied
by any meal, if you are going to have your breakfast you can eat Changua, chocolate,
and sweet fritter, especially, in December season for holidays. If you prefer
to eat a sweet dessert you should taste rice pudding, three milk cake, wafer, dessert
